March Update
In the month of March it feels like we are starting to head to a place of normalcy. Restrictions are being lifted, people are feeling more comfortable going out in public, with reason considering it has been about a year now since COVID was shutting down the entire country. IEG has kept working this entire time and we have our loyal customers to thank for that!
IEG Teams
IEG is made up of a bunch of different departments to keep us going. We have our electricians, obviously who service all of our customers to keep their facilities working. We have our project managers who keep all the jobs organized and make sure everything is getting done on time. We also have a business development team. Our business development team works each day to call plants throughout the country to introduce IEG and to see if they are in need of any electrical services. During COVID, this was a crucial piece to our operations. A lot of plants were shutting down, some contractors had to close down their businesses, etc. Our business development team made sure to call any plant they could to make sure their production would not be affected due to COVID and they wanted to make a point to tell them that IEG is still working.
IEG Training
Some of the things IEG does to stay innovative involves training our employees. IEG offers apprenticeship programs to our electricians with the benefit of getting your schooling reimbursed. Sometimes we will attend a virtual training about a specific plant or even safety training. Over the past 2 months, our branch managers have been participating in an online Master of Business Development course where they are learning how to master the art of the business. It is a great way to keep our branch managers innovative in a competitive market and building relationships with customers.
Even though our Denver branch is still experiencing snow and cold weather, it seems like we are finally starting to see some sunlight and warm weather everywhere else. The days are getting longer, and we look forward to these nice spring days as we head into April!

All of the sudden, here we are-- 2 months gone in this new year already. February always seems to be such a fast month. One second we’re in the Christmas season, wake up one day and Easter decorations are all out on display. February can be a crazy month here at IEG. Thank God! We are past 2020. We all know this year was one for the books and as we look towards 2021, we are hopeful that we can get past all of this COVID stuff and get things back to normal. This year has brought a lot of changes to our everyday lives, and as we enter into 2021 we are still taking the necessary steps to ensure the safety and health of our team and those we come into contact with.
