Thank God! We are past 2020. We all know this year was one for the books and as we look towards 2021, we are hopeful that we can get past all of this COVID stuff and get things back to normal. This year has brought a lot of changes to our everyday lives, and as we enter into 2021 we are still taking the necessary steps to ensure the safety and health of our team and those we come into contact with.
As we enter into the new year, a lot of industrial plants have a shutdown. These shutdowns are crucial to their plant because it allows us to have an opportunity to get in there and get a lot done that we usually can’t while normal production is going on. Our project managers stay busy with quoting upcoming projects for the year.
With COVID-19 still in our midst, our employees are taking the proper safety precautions to keep all industrial facilities running smoothly. On some plants, our employees are prohibited to stay on one side of the plant to avoid exposure in different areas. A lot of plants are requiring temperature screenings, COVID tests to be taken, and more to ensure the safety of all personnel on site. Our employees are wearing masks everywhere they go to avoid spreading the virus easily.
IEG Denver is continuing to grow, and as we embark on new customers, taking on new tasks, we also grow as a company. IEG Denver has a new branch manager! Nick Lovell, has joined our team in Denver. Nick comes to IEG with an amazing background in guest relations and customer service. He has experience working with a construction staffing company so he is sure to find excellent electricians to help facilitate industrial plants. Nick lives in Denver with his wife, Valerie, and their 2 beautiful girls, Penelope and Marigold. Some of Nick’s favorite hobbies involve a weekend in the mountains either camping, hiking, biking, or skiing. Nick is excited to be apart of the team because he is certain that Denver is a hub for the industrial industry specializing in manufacturing and technology. Nick shares the vision with IEG in moving forward with excellence and we are excited to have him as part of the team.
As these times can make it difficult to be working, IEG is committed to keeping all industrial facilities running and keeping everyone healthy. Although last year through everybody for a whirlwind, we are excited to see how 2021 can be a year of innovation and excellence.
In the month of March it feels like we are starting to head to a place of normalcy. Restrictions are being lifted, people are feeling more comfortable going out in public, with reason considering it has been about a year now since COVID was shutting down the entire country. IEG has kept working this entire time and we have our loyal customers to thank for that!
All of the sudden, here we are-- 2 months gone in this new year already. February always seems to be such a fast month. One second we’re in the Christmas season, wake up one day and Easter decorations are all out on display. February can be a crazy month here at IEG. All sorts of different jobs starting, our project managers quoting jobs, etc. 2021 is well on it’s way and as we head into March, we
