February Update
As we state in our mission, we want to set the national standard for all industrial electrical companies. Part of that, is going into a site that may not be functioning the way they want, some of it goes into our marketing piece and helping us brand our company in a professional focused look, and some of it goes with how our customers view IEG. This month, some exciting things took place that we couldn’t wait to share with you!
Palmetto Job
While a shutdown was in place, there was an opportunity to put in all new programming to help get a line up and running. In Greenville, one of our controls engineers went to work on an ABB IRB-660 which is used for palletizing, that was not functioning. After initially accessing the old RAPID programming, which was a rats nest, we threw out the old and gave it a brand new programming controls. After all said and done, the production line was up and running smoothly, and better than ever.
IEG Promotional Video
All part of IEG’s new look, we are constantly coming up with new ideas to improve the image of IEG. This month, we coordinated with a videographer to shoot a promotional video for IEG that would be able to display on our website as well as all of our social media platforms. A videographer came to our Charlotte office, took some video of some of our employees in the office, and even coordinated with some electricians to be starred on the video doing some electrical work. This video was shot to serve as a promotional tool to IEG to show how innovative we look, and how our services are able to help with all projects.
New Website
Since November of 2019, we have been eagerlessly working with a website developer to help us develop a new website for IEG. In doing this, we wanted a new looking website, one that would show how IEG is moving in the direction of excellence. We desired a new design, one that would display our services professionally, and that is easy to navigate. This new website is a slick looking piece that helps pull together a new look for IEG.

In the month of March it feels like we are starting to head to a place of normalcy. Restrictions are being lifted, people are feeling more comfortable going out in public, with reason considering it has been about a year now since COVID was shutting down the entire country. Thank God! We are past 2020. We all know this year was one for the books and as we look towards 2021, we are hopeful that we can get past all of this COVID stuff and get things back to normal. This year has brought a lot of changes to our everyday lives, and as we enter into 2021 we are still taking the necessary steps to ensure the safety and health of our team and those we come into contact with.
